Central bucket tooth (tip) with part number 331/62841 from the GX-AFTER offer. It is a working element bolted with two screws, dedicated to JCB mini excavators (e.g., 8025, 8030, 8035 series). The tooth is designed specifically for mounting on 16.5 mm thick blades. It features a universal "kidney" (slot) mounting hole, allowing it to fit buckets with a hole spacing of 40-45 mm.
GX-AFTER teeth are made of alloy steel with enhanced strength parameters. Hardness of 50 HRC ensures long life in abrasive ground, and high impact strength protects against cracking when hitting stones.

The tooth fits buckets with a blade thickness of 16-17 mm. For thinner blades (12-13 mm), different part numbers are used.
Two bolts are required to mount the tooth. The dedicated mounting kit is bolt with nut 826/01112S. We recommend replacing bolts with every tooth change to avoid breakage.
Working with worn teeth ("flat") drastically increases digging resistance. This causes overheating of the hydraulic oil, higher fuel consumption, and faster wear of pins and bushings of the excavator arm.
Tooth 331/62841 is a working element taking the main load during digging.

"Kidney" or slot is an oval mounting hole in the tooth. It allows the tooth to be mounted on buckets where holes are drilled at different distances (in this case 40-45 mm), making the tooth more versatile.
Although this term sometimes appears in the title, this tooth is a "straddle" type (wraps around the blade) and has a distinct working side. It is not a symmetrical tooth that can be flipped after one side wears out.
The abbreviation ZTS in JCB machine names (e.g., 8025 ZTS) stands for "Zero Tail Swing". This means that the excavator body does not protrude beyond the track outline during rotation, allowing for safe work against walls and in tight spaces.
