A reliable, right-hand side cutter tooth for mini excavator buckets, compatible with tooth systems on Kubota, CAT, and many other machines. It is a key working component, responsible for protecting the bucket's side edge and for "cutting" into the ground, which facilitates the work of the center teeth. Made by precision casting from high-spec alloy steel and hardened to 48-52 HRC, it guarantees excellent resistance to abrasion and breakage, ensuring a long service life in tough conditions.
The tooth is designed for cutting edges with a thickness of 16 mm. Mounting on a cutting edge thinner than 15 mm without using appropriate shims may lead to tooth fracture!
| Brand | Type / Series / Model |
|---|---|
| Kubota | Various mini excavator models |
| Caterpillar | Various mini excavator models |
| Other brands | Many other mini excavators and skid steer loaders |
The list above is for reference. Before purchasing, verify the cutting edge thickness (16mm) and bolt spacing (55mm).
The side cutter is the "first contact" element with the ground. It protects the side of the bucket from wear and facilitates penetration. Its wear leads to a decrease in digging efficiency, increased resistance, and consequently to damage to the much more expensive bucket.
Blunt teeth mean wasted fuel and time.
Working with worn teeth is like "petting" the ground, not digging. It increases the load on the hydraulics and fuel consumption. Don't burn money – order a new, reinforced GX-AFTER tooth and restore your machine's full digging power.

HRC is the Rockwell C scale of hardness. A value of 48-52 HRC means the tooth is made of very hard, yet impact-resistant steel. This hardness provides excellent resistance to abrasion, but the material is not so brittle that it will crack on the first impact with a hard obstacle.
2. What is the difference between a side cutter and a center tooth?A side cutter has an asymmetrical shape. Its job is to protect the side edge of the bucket from wear and to "cut" a clean trench wall. Center teeth are symmetrical and are responsible for the main digging force.
3. Can I install two right teeth? No. The design of the side teeth is a mirror image. A right tooth must be installed on the right side of the bucket, and a left tooth on the left. Installing the wrong tooth will cause improper trench formation and excessive resistance.
