An essential bucket working component – a durable aftermarket tooth for the popular CATERPILLAR J200 system. This is a standard dirt tooth profile, designed for general earthmoving in mini-excavators and small loaders. The tooth is mounted on a weld-on adapter using a side pin and retainer. High-grade cast steel ensures high resistance to abrasion. It is widely used on machines from various manufacturers (CAT, JCB, Komatsu, Case, etc.) that utilize the J200 system.
GX-AFTER is the smart choice for your machine. We provide high-class replacement parts that combine excellent quality with an attractive price. Each part is carefully verified to ensure full compatibility and reliability you can depend on.
| Brand | Type / Series / Model |
|---|---|
| Universal | Any machine (Caterpillar, JCB, Bobcat, Takeuchi, John Deere, Case, Komatsu, Kubota, ESCO, Hensley, H&L) equipped with a J200 adapter system. |
The list above is for reference. It is crucial to verify the tooth system (J200) on your bucket's adapter.
When installing or removing teeth (knocking out pins), always wear safety glasses and use a proper hammer and punch. Metal fragments or retainers can fly off and cause serious eye injury.
The tooth is the main working part of the bucket that comes into direct contact with the ground. A worn tooth leads to decreased digging performance, increased resistance, and higher fuel consumption. A worn tooth also puts extra stress on the adapter, leading to its failure.

J200 is the size designation for a popular CATERPILLAR tooth system. It is one of the smallest sizes, commonly used on mini excavators, skid steer loaders, and the smallest backhoe loaders (e.g., JCB 1CX).
2. Will this tooth fit a J250 or J300 adapter? No. The CAT J-Series tooth systems are not interchangeable between sizes. A J200 tooth will only fit a J200 adapter and requires J200 hardware (9W7112/8E6209).
3. What is the difference between this (1U3202) and a "Long Tip" tooth? This tooth (1U3202) is the standard profile (dirt tooth) for general use. A "Long Tip" profile has a longer working end, which provides better penetration and longer wear life in abrasive materials, but is more prone to breaking in high-impact rock applications.
