A high-quality 445/05110 clutch pressure plate by GX-AFTER. This is a precision diaphragm spring (Belleville washer), a key component of the clutch pack in JCB machine transmissions (3CX, 4CX, Loaders). Its function is to exert a constant, strong pressure on the pack of friction discs and steel plates, ensuring they lock up to transfer drive.
GX-AFTER is the smart choice for your machine. We provide high-class replacements that combine excellent quality with an attractive price. Each part is carefully verified to ensure full compatibility and reliability you can depend on.

The list above is for reference. It is crucial to verify the part number 445/05110 in your machine's transmission parts diagram.
The 445/05110 pressure plate is part of a clutch pack. When replacing it, it is essential to also replace the friction discs and steel plates, and to inspect the piston and piston seals in the clutch drum.
A cracked or fatigued pressure plate will lead to a loss of clamping force on the clutch pack. This causes severe clutch slippage, loss of drive, or failure to change direction. This can be extremely dangerous, e.g., when operating on a slope. An overheating clutch will burn the oil and destroy the entire transmission.
The 445/05110 plate is a diaphragm spring. In Powershift transmissions or reversers, it is installed in the clutch drum. When oil pressure pushes the piston, the piston compresses this spring, which then applies immense force to the stack of friction and steel plates, locking them together to transfer drive. When the oil pressure is released, the spring expands, releasing the pressure and disengaging the drive.

It is a special type of coned-disc spring (Belleville spring). In transmissions, it is used to apply a very high clamping force in a small space, which is necessary to lock a clutch pack.
When a clutch slips, it generates extreme heat. This heat causes the spring plate to lose its tension (it "softens"). Installing new friction discs with an old, overheated pressure plate will result in insufficient clamping force, and the new discs will burn up very quickly.
These are completely different parts. 445/10803 and 445/10802 are small teflon washers for the gear shift lever mechanism in the cab. This product (445/05110) is a large, metal diaphragm spring that works inside the transmission.
