A high-quality 445/05107 steel clutch plate for transmissions, by FEROSTEM. This is a key component of the clutch pack, alternating with the friction discs. It is designed for JCB machines (3CX, 4CX, Loaders, Fastracs). Precise dimensions (1.5 mm thickness) and 6 internal teeth guarantee a perfect fit in the clutch drum and resistance to overheating.
FEROSTEM specializes in the production of high-quality, wear-resistant steel castings, such as teeth, cutting edges, and track systems. Our products are designed for maximum resistance to impact and abrasion, ensuring long life even in the toughest quarrying and demolition conditions.

The list above is for reference. It is crucial to verify the part number 445/05107 in your machine's transmission parts diagram.
The 445/05107 plate is part of a clutch pack. When replacing it, it is essential to also replace the friction discs (which it mates with) and the pressure plate / diaphragm spring (e.g., 445/05110). Piston seals should also be inspected.
Cracked or warped (overheated) steel plates lead to a loss of friction in the clutch pack. This results in severe transmission slippage, loss of drive, or failure to change direction. This can be extremely dangerous, e.g., when operating on a slope. An overheating clutch will burn the oil and destroy the entire transmission.
The 445/05107 steel plate is a thin (1.5 mm) steel disc with 6 internal teeth. In a transmission (e.g., Powershift, reverser), it works in a clutch drum, stacked alternately with friction discs. When oil pressure compresses the pack, the steel plates engage the drum, and the friction discs engage the hub, creating a solid connection to transfer drive. The steel plates are also responsible for dissipating heat from the friction discs.

This part (445/05107) is the steel separator plate. It is smooth and metallic. A friction disc has a special friction lining bonded to its surface (similar to a brake pad).
When a clutch slips, it generates extreme heat. This heat causes the steel plates to "warp" (deform) and develop hard, glazed "hot spots". Installing new friction discs against old, warped steel plates will cause uneven pressure and destroy them very quickly.
They are two different parts of the clutch pack. 445/05107 (this product) is the thin (1.5mm) steel separator plate that is stacked *inside* the pack. 445/05110 is the thicker (2.7mm) diaphragm spring (pressure plate) at the end of the pack.
