The transmission oil cooler is a key component that maintains the optimal operating temperature of the oil in the Powershift gearbox. If your transmission is overheating (warning light is on), the machine loses drive when hot, gear changes are jerky, or you notice visible oil leaks from the cooler, these are classic symptoms of its failure. A faulty cooler leads to overheating of the oil, which loses its lubricating properties, resulting in rapid wear of the clutch plates and seizure of the gearbox.

The cooler is fully adapted to work with original hoses, mountings and sensors, ensuring a consistent repair.
The GX-AFTER brand is a proven and safe alternative that offers quality comparable to original parts at a much better price.
If the old cooler failed internally (e.g., seized), metal debris may have entered the system. It is recommended to flush the lines before installing the new cooler.
Installing a new cooler without changing the transmission filter and oil is pointless. Contaminants from old oil can immediately clog the new cooler. Use REDX filters and HYPTRON oils.
When replacing the cooler, inspect the condition of the oil lines. If they are perished, hard, or damaged, replace them to avoid future leaks.
The transmission cooler is mounted in front of the water radiator. Before installation, thoroughly clean both coolers externally with compressed air to ensure maximum airflow.
Answer: It is one of the main causes. Other possibilities include a low oil level, a clogged transmission oil filter, or a problem with the torque converter.
Question: Can I repair a cracked cooler?Answer: Welding aluminum coolers is very difficult and rarely provides a lasting effect. Due to high pressure and vibrations, a repaired cooler usually fails again quickly. The most reliable solution is a replacement.
Question: What is the sensor port for?Answer: It is a special port in the cooler housing where the oil temperature sensor is screwed in. It informs the operator about potential overheating of the transmission by illuminating a warning light on the dashboard.
