3CX, 4CX (front and rear arm controls)
Mini Excavators (805-807), Wheeled Loaders
The ball joint is a key component connecting the control lever (joystick) with the linkage rods that operate the hydraulic valve block. It is responsible for precisely transferring the operator's hand movements to the spool's movement in the valve block. If you feel excessive play in the joystick, hydraulic control is imprecise, and the arm "floats" or drifts down, these are classic symptoms of a worn joint. Continued operation with such play leads to faster wear of the spools in the valve block and risks sudden disconnection of the linkage, resulting in a complete loss of control over that function.

The accuracy and quality of materials guarantee long and trouble-free use without the need for frequent replacement.
The joint is fully adapted to work with original linkages and levers, ensuring a consistent repair.
The GX-AFTER brand is a proven and safe alternative that offers quality comparable to original parts at a much better price.
For the best result and even operation, replace both joints on a single linkage (at the joystick and at the valve block) at the same time.
Before installing new joints, check that the control rods are not bent or damaged. A bent rod will cause binding and rapid wear of the new joints.
After installation, adjust the linkage length so that when the joystick is in the neutral position, the spool in the valve block is also perfectly in neutral. This prevents the arm from "drifting".
Before putting on the rubber boot, fill the new joint with a small amount of grease, such as HYPTRON, to ensure smooth operation.
Answer: Yes, this is the most common cause. Worn ball joints at the ends of the linkages mean that the joystick's movement is not precisely transferred to the valve block.
Question: Can I replace only one, most worn joint?Answer: It is not recommended. The joints on a single linkage wear at a similar rate. Replacing only one will mean the old, worn joint will continue to generate play.
Question: What happens if I operate with worn joints?Answer: Operating with play in the linkages leads to faster wear of the spools in the hydraulic valve block. In an extreme case, the joint can disconnect, resulting in a complete loss of control over that hydraulic function.
