Precision 32/917805 inner air filter (safety element) by REDX. It is the second stage of filtration in the intake systems of JCB machines with Perkins and DieselMax engines. Installed inside the main filter (32/917804), it acts as the final barrier for contaminants, protecting the engine in case of outer filter failure or during its replacement.
REDX filters are designed to meet rigorous airflow and filtration efficiency standards required by modern diesel engines, ensuring their long and trouble-free operation.

Filter fits a very wide range of machines. Dimensions: H 359mm, OD 88mm, ID 71.5mm. This is an inner element.
Filter 32/917805 is the inner (safety) filter. It always works with the outer (primary) filter number 32/917804. We recommend replacing both filters simultaneously in case of heavy safety element contamination.
The inner filter (safety) must not be cleaned or blown out. If it is dirty, it means the main filter has let contaminants through (is damaged or poorly installed). In this case, you must replace both filters with new ones immediately.
The safety filter protects the engine in emergency situations.

Because its main role is to secure the engine in case of failure (e.g., rupture) of the main filter. Under normal conditions, this filter remains clean for a very long time.
Absolutely not. The filter material in the safety filter is very dense and delicate. Attempting to wash or blow it out will destroy its structure, rendering it useless.
A diesel engine needs about 10,000 liters of air to burn 1 liter of fuel. In a dusty construction environment, without effective filters, the engine could suck in enough dust in an hour to seize up within a single day of work!
