The outer air filter is the first and main line of defense for the engine against contaminants. Its job is to capture 99.9% of dust and dirt from the intake air. If your machine is producing black smoke, has lost power, its fuel consumption has increased sharply, or the filter restriction indicator is active, these are classic symptoms of a worn filter. Continued operation with a clogged filter leads to damage to the inner filter, and consequently, dust entering the turbocharger and cylinders, which leads to seizure and the most expensive engine failure possible.

Perfect Sealing
No unfiltered air leaks
A clean filter allows the engine to "breathe" freely, which translates to factory power and optimal fuel consumption.
A functional filtration system is the cheapest insurance for your engine. It protects a unit worth thousands from seizure.
By choosing an OEM product, you can be sure you are getting a top-quality part that will operate flawlessly throughout the service interval.
Air filters (outer and inner) should always be replaced as a set. Installing a new outer filter with an old, clogged inner filter is pointless.
Before installing new filters, carefully clean the inside of the filter housing of all dust and dirt. This will ensure a proper seal.
While replacing, inspect all hoses and connections between the filter and the turbocharger for cracks and leaks.
Blowing out air filters with compressed air damages their delicate structure, creating microscopic holes that allow dust to enter the engine.
Answer: Yes, this is the main symptom of a clogged air filter. The engine is not getting enough oxygen to burn the fuel, which leads to smoke and a drop in power.
Question: How often should I replace air filters?Answer: The replacement interval depends on the working conditions. In very dusty environments, they may need to be replaced as often as every 250 hours. A standard interval is around 500 hours. You should always be guided by the filter restriction indicator.
Question: Can I just replace the outer filter and leave the inner one?Answer: It is highly not recommended. The inner filter is the "last chance" safety filter. If the outer filter fails, it is the one that protects the engine. For complete safety, always replace both filters at the same time.
