A high-quality upper wear pad for the extending dipper arm (telescopic boom), made of a durable, low-friction polymer. It is a key component that guides the inner, extending section of the arm. Its function is to ensure smooth telescopic movement, take up play, and protect the metal surfaces of the arms from wear. 4 pieces are used per machine.
Aftermarket quality product – an intelligent choice combining excellent quality with an attractive price.

We also offer the other parts for the job:
• Lower wear pad: 123/03215 (4 pcs per machine)
• Lower wear pad metal shim: 331/30894 (4 pcs per machine)

| JCB (Backhoe Loaders) | 3CX, 4CX |
The list above is for reference. We recommend verifying the dimensions on your machine before purchasing.
Replacing backhoe arm components requires the arm to be immobilized and secured. Always use the service lock and certified axle stands. Never rely solely on the machine's hydraulics. Use safety glasses and gloves.
For a complete refurbishment, always replace the upper and lower wear pads at the same time. To ensure perfect sliding and corrosion protection, coat the wear surfaces with a dedicated lubricant like HYPTRON - Wax Grease SHIELD. Remember to also regularly grease the pins and bushings with HYPTRON grease with MoS2 additive.
Wear pads are sacrificial components designed to wear out to protect the much more expensive metal parts of the arm. Ignoring worn pads leads to play, which causes the arm to "rock", jerk during extension, and can lead to damage to the extender ram.
Replace the wear pads if you notice:
A wobbly extendadig means imprecise and unsafe work.
The cost of replacing a set of wear pads is negligible compared to the risk of damaging the extender ram or the arm itself. Secure your machine – order a complete GX-AFTER set and restore the factory rigidity and smoothness to your telescopic arm.
No. The play on the telescopic boom is controlled by the entire system of wear pads – both upper and lower. Replacing only one type of pad will not yield the desired result and will cause accelerated wear of the new components. A complete set should always be replaced.
2. What should I use to lubricate the extendadig slides? For this type of sliding friction, it's best to use specialized products like a wax-based grease (e.g., HYPTRON - Wax Grease SHIELD), which creates a durable, dry lubricating film that does not attract dirt and dust.
3. What material are these pads made of?They are made of a high-quality polymer with high abrasion resistance and a low coefficient of friction, often referred to colloquially as "Teflon," although technically it is most often polyamide or polyacetal.
