A critical drivetrain component – this Genuine JCB drive sprocket is designed for JCB mini excavators (e.g., 805, 8052), as well as a wide range of machines from other manufacturers, such as Volvo (EC45), Hitachi (EX40, EX45, ZX55), Daewoo (DX55), Neuson (5000, 6002), and many others. As a genuine part, it has been manufactured using a complex, multi-stage casting process and subjected to precision heat treatment (hardening). This guarantees the highest tooth durability and wear resistance in the toughest conditions.
Genuine JCB product – a guarantee of the highest quality, perfect fit, and 100% compatibility with your machine.

The list above is for reference. We recommend verifying the tooth count (19T), bolt hole count (9H), and inner diameter (230mm) before purchasing.
Before working on the undercarriage, ensure the machine is on stable, level ground and is properly secured against rolling. Always follow the service manual procedures for releasing and re-tensioning the tracks.
The sprocket is one of the key wear components of a track undercarriage. It transfers power from the final drive to the chain, setting the machine in motion. A worn sprocket leads to accelerated wear of the entire undercarriage.

The main difference is the number of bolt holes. This model (234/14700) has 9 holes (9H). The 334/S3144 model has 12 holes (12H). Although both have 19 teeth and a 230mm inner diameter, their mounting to the final drive is completely different, and they are not interchangeable.
2. Why does this JCB sprocket fit Volvo, Hitachi, etc.?Many mini excavator manufacturers (especially in the 4-6 ton class) use the same proven undercarriage components (like final drives and motors) from specialized OEM suppliers. This results in interchangeable sprockets between these brands.
3. Can I replace just one sprocket? This is highly discouraged. The new sprocket will have a different working diameter than the old, worn one on the other side. This can cause the machine to "pull" to one side when tracking straight and will cause uneven wear on both tracks and final drives. Always replace sprockets in pairs.
