A genuine SPICER propshaft, an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) supplier, connecting the Powershift transmission to the rear axle. It is a key component of the drivetrain, responsible for transferring the entire torque to the rear axle. Manufactured from high-grade steel and factory-balanced, it guarantees vibration-free operation and maximum resistance to torsion, which is essential for the safety and durability of the entire machine. A faulty propshaft is a source of vibrations that destroy bearings in the gearbox and axle.
SPICER is a world leader in the production of drivetrain components, supplying parts for the first assembly to leading machine manufacturers. By choosing SPICER, you are choosing quality, durability, and reliability identical to the original.

Working underneath a machine is dangerous. Always secure the machine against rolling and use certified axle stands with an appropriate load capacity. Never rely solely on a jack.
The propshaft is the critical link between the gearbox and the axle. Wear in its U-joints or splines causes vibrations that destroy the seals and bearings in the gearbox and drive axle. A broken shaft will immobilize the machine.
Vibrations from a damaged propshaft destroy the gearbox and axle.
The cost of replacing a propshaft is negligible compared to an overhaul of the gearbox or drive axle. Don't take the risk – order a new, factory-balanced SPICER propshaft and ensure a vibration-free power transfer for your machine.

The most common cause is the operational wear of the universal joints, caused by a lack of regular lubrication. This leads to play, vibrations, and consequently to damage to the shaft itself or its mountings.
2. Can I just replace the U-joints instead of the whole shaft?Yes, this is possible, provided that the yokes that hold the U-joints are not worn or deformed. If the yokes are damaged, a new U-joint will be destroyed very quickly. Replacing the complete shaft ensures the problem is solved.
3. Why does the shaft have a splined, sliding section? The splined connection allows for compensation of changes in distance between the gearbox and the axle, which occur during the operation of the machine's suspension or frame. This ensures that the shaft is not subjected to axial forces that could damage it.
