A complete fuel separator with a sedimenter bowl and integrated manual pump, designed for JCB machines with DieselMax engines (produced after 2006). This is a key component of the fuel system, performing a dual function: it effectively separates water and contaminants from the fuel, protecting the injection pump, and it also allows for easy bleeding of the system after a filter change. This high-quality replacement ensures a tight seal and reliability, crucial for the trouble-free operation of the engine.
GX-AFTER is the smart choice for your machine. We provide high-class replacement parts that combine excellent quality with an attractive price. Each part is carefully verified to ensure full compatibility and reliability you can depend on.

Before starting work on the fuel system, ensure the engine is off and cool. Diesel is flammable. Avoid sparks and open flames. Use appropriate personal protective equipment.
The separator with a pump is the first line of defense for the injection system and a key service component. Its failure or a leak can lead to air entering the system, problems starting the engine, or water getting into the injection pump, which risks seizing it.
Water in the fuel is a sure way to destroy an injection pump.
The cost of a complete separator is negligible compared to an injection system overhaul, which can cost thousands. Don't risk the most expensive failure – order a new, complete GX-AFTER separator and provide your engine with clean, water-free fuel.

A regular fuel filter is designed to capture only solid contaminants. A separator (sedimenter) also separates water from the fuel. Water, being heavier than diesel, collects at the bottom of the transparent bowl and can be regularly drained. This is crucial protection for modern injection systems, which are very sensitive to corrosion.
2. The engine stalls under load. Is it the pump's fault? It could be. If the diaphragm in the pump is damaged or leaking, "false" air can be sucked into the system during engine operation. Air in the fuel system is a common cause of power loss and engine stalling under load. Other causes include a clogged fuel filter or problems with the injection pump.
3. How often should I drain water from the sediment bowl?A daily visual inspection and draining of contaminants if necessary is recommended. The frequency depends on the quality of the fuel and the working conditions. It is a good habit to check the sedimenter at the start of each working day.
