A high-quality slide bush, made of hardened steel. It is a key component of the front axle pivot ("cradle"). Its function is to provide smooth oscillating movement of the axle and to bear enormous dynamic loads generated when driving on rough terrain. It has internal grease channels for optimal lubricant distribution.
A CORESPEX brand product – premium quality replacements that guarantee long life and reliability, even when working in heavy-duty conditions.
| Brand (Machine Type) | Model |

| JCB (Telehandlers) | Loadall TM310, TM320 |
The list above is for reference. We recommend verifying the dimensions on your machine before purchasing.
Replacing the axle pivot bushes requires lifting and securing the front of the machine. Always use certified axle stands with an appropriate load capacity. Never rely solely on the machine's hydraulics or a jack. Use safety glasses and gloves.
For a full axle pivot refurbishment, always replace the bushings in a set with new pins and seals. Regular greasing of the joints with high-quality HYPTRON grease with molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) drastically extends the life of the bushings.
Bushings are sacrificial components designed to wear out to protect much more expensive components like the machine frame or the axle housing. Ignoring worn bushings leads to play, which causes machine instability, accelerates tire wear, and can lead to damage to the propshaft.
Replace the bushings if you notice:
Ignoring play leads to wear in the frame and axle bores.
The cost of re-boring worn-out holes is many times greater than the cost of a preventative replacement of pins and bushings. Protect your machine from expensive repairs – order a complete CORESPEX set today and restore the factory rigidity to the suspension.
In most cases, the main cause of play on the "cradle" is worn pivot bushings and pins. However, you should also check the condition of the center pivot pin. A comprehensive repair involves replacing all worn components at the same time.
2. How do I check if the bore in the frame is "worn out"?After removing the old bush, you should thoroughly clean the bore and measure its diameter with a caliper in several places. If the dimensions differ significantly (the hole is oval), it indicates wear. A new bush will not sit tightly and will be quickly destroyed.
3. What are the risks of working with worn axle pivot bushings?Prolonged operation with a loose axle not only causes unstable handling and tire wear but, most importantly, damages the bores in the frame, which requires expensive re-boring. It can also lead to damage to the U-joints and splines of the propshaft.
