A high-quality castellated nut for the 2WD front axle hub. It is a key component responsible for the correct tightening and securing of the wheel hub bearings. Precision-made threads and the appropriate material hardness guarantee secure wheel mounting and long-term service life.
Aftermarket quality product – an intelligent choice combining excellent quality with an attractive price.

The list above is for reference. We recommend a visual comparison on your machine before purchasing.
Working on the running gear requires the front of the machine to be lifted and secured. Always use certified axle stands with an appropriate load capacity. Never rely solely on the machine's hydraulics or a jack. Use safety glasses and gloves.
To make future removal easier, clean the stub axle and nut threads with a wire brush before installation. Apply a thin layer of HYPTRON copper grease to the threads to prevent them from seizing and corroding. Always use a torque wrench to tighten the nut and secure it with a new split pin.
The hub nut is a critical safety component that prevents the wheel from coming off. Its failure, such as a stripped thread, can lead to a sudden loss of control of the machine. Improper tightening can cause damage to the bearings.
A damaged nut prevents correct bearing preload adjustment.
The cost of a new nut is negligible compared to replacing damaged bearings and a hub due to improper tightening. Don't take the risk – order a new GX-AFTER nut and ensure the proper functioning of the entire running gear.

If the play is due to a loose nut, tightening it correctly should eliminate it. However, if the play returns or is still present after tightening, it indicates that the hub bearings are worn and must be replaced immediately.
2. Why does this nut have slots ("castellations")?This is a so-called castellated nut. The slots are used to secure it from unscrewing with a split pin, which passes through a hole in the stub axle and one of the slots in the nut. This is a crucial safety feature.
3. Does this nut fit a 4x4 driven axle? No. This nut is designed exclusively for non-driven front axles (2WD). Driven axles (4x4) have a completely different hub design and require different nuts.
