The side tooth is a key component of the ground engaging tool that protects the sides of the bucket from damage and facilitates ground penetration. If your tooth is worn, rounded, or cracked, the bucket loses its efficiency, and its sides are exposed to direct wear. Working with damaged side teeth leads to higher digging resistance, increased fuel consumption, and the risk of costly repairs to the bucket itself.

Sharp, new teeth allow for faster bucket filling, which shortens cycle times and increases work efficiency.
Less resistance during digging means less load on the engine and hydraulics, resulting in lower fuel consumption.
Side teeth take on all the impact and abrasion, protecting the much more expensive-to-repair cutting edge and sides of the bucket.
This tooth is designed for a 21 mm thick adapter. Mounting it on an adapter thinner than 20 mm without using appropriate shims risks tooth breakage!
For a durable and safe connection, use proven 826/00303 bolts (bottom) and dedicated 990/14900 bolts (top) for installation.
Answer: A side tooth has an asymmetrical shape designed to protect the side armor of the bucket from wear. A center tooth is symmetrical.
Question: Can I install two left-hand teeth?Answer: No, for proper operation and bucket protection, you should always install a left-hand tooth (531/03209) on the left side and a right-hand tooth (531/03208) on the right.
