When working on the door, especially when removing the trim panel, beware of sharp sheet metal edges. Use protective gloves.
The door lock is responsible for securely latching the door in the closed position. Its failure prevents the cab from closing properly, creating a risk of the door opening during travel and allowing unauthorized access to the machine.
A faulty door is a risk of accident and theft.
Don't let a damaged lock compromise the safety of you and your machine. Invest in peace of mind – order a new, durable GX-AFTER lock and ensure your security.

Not necessarily. The first thing to check is the adjustment of the striker on the cab pillar. Over time, the door can drop on its hinges, causing the striker to misalign with the lock. If an adjustment doesn't help and the lock mechanism is clearly worn or damaged, then the lock should be replaced.
2. Does this kit include the key barrel and key?No. This is the internal lock with the integrated internal handle. The key barrel is located in the external handle, which is a separate part and not included in this kit.
3. The internal handle is loose and won't open the door. Will replacing this part help?Yes, this is a classic symptom of wear or fracture within the internal mechanism of this assembly. Since the handle and lock are one integrated component, replacing it will solve the problem.
