Hydraulic ditching (tilting) bucket with part number 980/86061 from the COBRA series by HIMACORE. This is a premium class attachment with a width of 150 cm and increased capacity of 270 liters (0.27 m³). Dedicated to JCB 3CX, 4CX backhoe loaders and a wide range of JCB mini and midi excavators (from 5 to 10 tons). The bucket features a hydraulic cylinder allowing precise slope profiling without the need to reposition the machine.
The COBRA model stands out with a unique shell geometry that prevents spoil sticking (especially clay). Increased capacity (270L vs standard 180L) significantly speeds up work when loading loose materials and ditching.
| Machine Type | Models |
|---|---|
| Backhoe Loaders | 3CX, 4CX |
| Mini / Midi Excavators | 8052, 8055, 8060, 8065, 8085, 65R, 67C, 85Z, 86C, 90Z, 100C |
The bucket has standard JCB mounting: 45 mm pins, 175 mm arm width, 340 mm spacing.
The bucket is supplied with mounted bushings. The set does not include mounting pins (use existing ones or buy new). Hydraulic quick couplers may be required for connection (depending on machine equipment).
Before starting work, ensure that hydraulic hoses are routed so they do not get pinched during the full range of bucket movement. Check hydraulic connections for leaks after installation.
The hydraulic bucket enables grading at an angle without repositioning the machine.

No. The bucket is supplied with mounted bushings, but without pins. They must be transferred from the old bucket or purchased separately.
The name "Cobra" refers to the specific, aggressive shape of the bucket profile, which facilitates ground penetration and prevents material sticking, similar to a snake's agility in difficult terrain.
