External panoramic mirror with part number 123/04970 from the GX-AFTER offer. It is a universal, spherical mirror designed for a wide range of JCB construction machinery, including backhoe loaders, telehandlers, and forklifts. Thanks to the adjustable bracket, the mirror fits mounting tubes with a diameter from 10 to 22 mm. The mirror head dimensions are 263 mm x 160 mm.
GX-AFTER supplies cab accessories with increased vibration resistance. The solid mounting clamp prevents the mirror from drooping during machine operation, and the convex glass significantly increases the operator's field of view, eliminating blind spots.
| Machine Type | Models / Series |
|---|---|
| Backhoe Loaders | 1CX, 2CX, 2DX, 3CX, 4CX, MIDI CX |
| Loaders | Telehandlers (Loadall), Wheeled Loaders |
| Forklifts | Rough Terrain Forklifts (RTFL) |
Thanks to the universal bracket, this mirror can also be successfully used in agricultural machines (tractors, harvesters) and other industrial vehicles.
The mirror is supplied with a mounting bracket. In case of damage to the arm itself, our offer also includes mirror bars and brackets dedicated to JCB machines.
Working with a machine with damaged or misadjusted mirrors poses a fatal risk to bystanders. Blind spots around an excavator are huge – functional panoramic mirrors are the basis for safe maneuvering.
Mirror 123/04970 is responsible for rear and side visibility.

The mirror is spherical (convex). This means it slightly "zooms out" the image, but in return offers a much wider viewing angle, which is crucial in large machines to eliminate blind spots.
The universal clamp fits tubes with a diameter from 10 mm to 22 mm. This is the standard range for most brackets in JCB machines.
The largest excavator in the world, Bagger 293, weighs 14,200 tons and is 96 meters high. Operators of such giants do not rely on mirrors – to monitor the surroundings they use advanced camera systems and radar sensors, because the blind spot around such a machine is hundreds of meters!
