A high-quality fuse with a 50A rating. It is a key component protecting the machine's main electrical circuits (e.g., ignition switch, main relays, work lights) from the effects of a short circuit or overload. Its job is to immediately interrupt the circuit in the event of a failure, which protects sensitive components and prevents the risk of a fire in the wiring.
GX-AFTER is the smart choice for your machine. We provide high-class replacement parts that combine excellent quality with an attractive price. Each part is carefully verified to ensure full compatibility and reliability you can depend on.
| Brand (Machine Type) | Model |
|---|---|
| JCB (Backhoe Loaders) | 3CX, 4CX |
| JCB (Telehandlers) | Loadall |
| JCB (Wheel Loaders) | Various models |
| JCB (Dumpers) | Various models |
The list above is for reference. Before purchasing, we recommend verifying the amperage and fuse type in your machine.
Before replacing any electrical components, you must disconnect the negative (-) terminal from the battery. Never replace a fuse with one of a higher amperage or a piece of wire – this poses a fire risk!
A fuse is the primary protection for any electrical circuit. If it blows, the respective device (e.g., lights, radio, wipers) will stop working.
A blown fuse means a non-functioning feature and downtime.
Having a set of spare fuses is the cheapest way to avoid unplanned and costly downtime. Don't let a failure catch you by surprise – order a spare GX-AFTER fuse and always have it on hand.

A repeatedly blowing fuse indicates a short circuit or a constant overload in that circuit. The most common causes are a frayed wire touching the machine's frame, an internal fault in the component (e.g., a wiper motor), or a short caused by water getting into a connector.
2. Can I use a higher amperage fuse, e.g., 60A instead of 50A?Absolutely not. The fuse rating is precisely selected for the capacity of the wires and devices in a given circuit. Installing a higher-rated fuse will not fix the problem and, in the event of a short circuit, can lead to melted insulation, component damage, or even a fire.
3. What is the difference between a MAXI and a standard blade fuse?MAXI fuses (also known as VAL type) are physically larger than standard blade fuses and are designed to protect higher current circuits (usually from 20A upwards). They have a larger contact area, allowing them to carry higher loads without overheating.
