Front combination lamp with part number 700/21100 from the GX-AFTER offer. It is a road headlight dedicated to older JCB machine models (so-called "Old Cab" / "Grey Cab"), produced before the introduction of the Project 8/21 series. The lamp combines low beam, high beam, position light, and indicator functions. A characteristic feature of this model is the round connector plug.
GX-AFTER specializes in supplying parts for older machines where market availability is limited. This lamp is a faithful reproduction of the original, allowing you to maintain the classic look of the machine and compatibility with the electrical system.
| Machine Group | Models / Series |
|---|---|
| Backhoe Loaders | 3CX, 4CX (Older years, so-called "Grey Cab") |
| Telehandlers | Loadall (Selected older models with rectangular headlights) |
| Forklifts | JCB Rough Terrain Forklifts (RTFL) - older series |
The lamp is compatible with machines using the round connector system. Newer machines (from approx. 2000) may have square plugs (Econoseal).
The lamp requires a H4 12V main bulb, a P21W indicator bulb, and a W5W (or R5W) position bulb. When replacing, we recommend verifying the condition of the machine socket for contact corrosion.
Driving a construction machine on public roads with faulty lighting is prohibited. Old, dull reflectors drastically reduce visibility at night. Replacing lamps with new ones restores work and transport safety.
The lamp is responsible for road illumination and signaling maneuvers.

Typically, lamps for older models ("Old Cab") are universal side-wise, differing only in the bracket setting. However, make sure the reflector is not asymmetrical for one side only (RHD/LHD).
The round plug (often Canon type) was used in older JCB installations. Newer machines (from approx. 2000) switched to sealed Econoseal plugs (rectangular/square), which better protect against moisture.
The term "Grey Cab" refers to JCB machines manufactured in the 90s, characterized by a grey interior finish and distinct, angular shapes, including such front headlights.
