An essential element of the air conditioning system – a durable V-belt, designed to drive the A/C compressor in JCB telehandlers with Perkins engines. It is a key component responsible for transferring drive from the engine to the compressor, which enables the cooling of the operator's cab. Made from a modern rubber compound (EPDM) reinforced with polyester cords, it provides high flexibility, resistance to high temperatures and cracking, ensuring long and reliable operation of the air conditioning system.
GX-AFTER is the smart choice for your machine. We provide high-class replacement parts that combine excellent quality with an attractive price. Each part is carefully verified to ensure full compatibility and reliability you can depend on.
| Brand | Type / Series / Model |

The list above is for reference. Before purchasing, we recommend checking the dimensions of your old belt or the part number in the parts catalogue for your machine.
Before starting work on the belt drive system, ensure the engine is off and cool. Beware of the risk of pinching your fingers between the belt and pulleys. Ensure the key is removed from the ignition to prevent accidental starting.
The A/C belt is solely responsible for driving the air conditioning compressor. If it breaks or slips, it results in a loss of cooling in the cab, which drastically reduces operator comfort, especially on hot days.
No air conditioning on a hot day isn't just discomfort, it's a drop in work efficiency.
Don't let a worn belt deprive you of comfort and reduce your work efficiency. The cost of a new belt is negligible compared to the losses caused by working in uncomfortable conditions. Invest in your comfort – order a new, durable GX-AFTER belt and enjoy a cool cab all season long.

A V-belt (like this one) has a trapezoidal cross-section (V-shape) and transmits power through the friction of its side surfaces against the pulley groove. A multi-ribbed belt is flat and has many small longitudinal grooves on its surface that mate with correspondingly profiled pulleys. Multi-ribbed belts can transmit more power and drive multiple devices at once.
2. I hear a loud squeal when I turn on the A/C. Is it the belt's fault?Yes, in 99% of cases, this is a symptom of a slipping A/C belt. The cause could be insufficient belt tension, wear (glazed surface), or increased resistance from the A/C compressor (e.g., due to low refrigerant level or seizing bearings).
3. My old belt is 12mm wide. Will this 13mm one fit?You should use a belt with exactly the same parameters. A 13mm belt may not sit properly in a pulley groove designed for a 12mm belt, which will cause it to slip and wear out very quickly. Differences may arise from measurement standards, which is why the correct part number is most important.
