A high-quality tapered roller bearing for the pinion shaft in the drive axle. It is a key component of the differential mechanism, responsible for handling both axial and radial loads and ensuring the correct seating of the pinion shaft. Precision manufacturing and the use of high-grade steel guarantee quiet operation and maximum service life, even under extreme loads.
OEM quality product – a guarantee of a perfect fit and parameters identical to the original.

Axle repair is a complex operation requiring specialist knowledge and tools. The axle is a heavy component, and its removal and installation create a risk of crushing. Always follow the manufacturer's service manual.
During an axle overhaul, **always replace the complete set of bearings, seals, and adjustment shims**. Use only high-quality HYPTRON gear oil and change filters to proven REDX brand replacements to ensure the long and trouble-free operation of the entire system.
The pinion shaft bearing is one of the most heavily loaded components in the axle. Its failure leads to play in the pinion, which manifests as a noisy axle and can result in the destruction of the differential's gear set.
A worn bearing is a direct path to destroying the differential.
The cost of replacing a bearing is negligible compared to a full axle overhaul. Don't take the risk – order a proven ARB bearing and restore your axle to factory condition and quiet operation.

This is the most common cause. A "whining" or "humming" sound from the axle that changes with speed almost always indicates worn pinion shaft bearings or carrier bearings. Other causes include a low oil level or worn gears.
2. Can I replace just one damaged bearing? It is not recommended. The pinion shaft bearings (inner and outer) wear at a similar rate. Replacing only one without setting the correct preload will lead to the rapid failure of the new bearing. The complete set should always be replaced.
3. What is "setting the backlash" and why is it important? After installing new bearings, you must use adjustment shims to set the correct bearing preload and the proper clearance (backlash) between the teeth of the pinion shaft and the crown wheel. This is a critical adjustment that determines the quiet operation and longevity of the entire differential. An incorrect setting will destroy the new parts in a very short time.
